REVAPORATE

REVAPORATE captures a moment of change that happens all around us, but is too small to see. The work zooms into a single instant after heavy rain — water droplets resting on wet moss and soil, just as they begin to evaporate.

Evaporation is the process where water slowly transforms from a liquid into an invisible gas — water vapour. It begins the moment heat or light touches the surface of water. The molecules become energised, break free from the liquid, and rise into the air. What was once visible simply disappears. This process is one of the most fundamental cycles in nature: the same water that falls as rain lifts back into the atmosphere, ready to return again.

Through sound and image, REVAPORATE makes this hidden process visible. It is always happening, yet we never notice it.
